Dr. Pepper Museum visit.

Original art work from an early 1960's ad campaign.
My family and I visited the Dr. Pepper Museum in Waco today. I had never been and saw some really interesting things. They had a lot of ad art work that I didn’t think I would see there. Then I realized, why wouldn’t I see it? It’s a part of the history. The brand has been through numerous changes. Some good and some bad. The one common element is the maroon color. That has seemed to stand the test of time. We also got to see all the packaging from over ther years. Some I had seen before and some I had never seen. I was a cool place to visit and now my wife and I already have our sites on a Coca-Cola Plant/Museum type visit.

Have you seen these before?

Illustration
Let’s get things started. This is a personal piece I did for myself. It’s an illustration of an exsiting car but I changed the color and added a “driver. This is something I have printed and will frame for my self.
Felty T-Shirt
Here is a design I made for Felty Elementary in Waxahachie, TX. It was a new school and they needed spirit gear and they chose this design for one of their T-shirts and other items. I used the traditional Indian the highschool has used in the past. They requested a “weathered” look so I made that happen as well.
New web design.
I decided to redesign the site to help display my designs a little easier. I like this format because it keeps the site fresh and it is easier for me to update with images of whatever I am currently working on. I can also add comment with my images postings as well. I hope you enjoy the new format. -Andy
