My Grandfather recently passed away. He was a hardworking man just trying to make a good living for his family. Life was not easy for him but I believe he made the best with what he had. He was a laborer his whole life. Even though he may not have known it he taught me many things which I am grateful for. He made my childhood time spent with him wonderful and unforgettable.

He was not a perfect man but who of us is? He was very much old school, and lived the traditional Mexican lifestyle. He Loved his family and also loved music and playing the guitar. He liked his tequila and loved to barbeque for our family. We used to sit in the yard and listen to him play traditional Mexican songs all night.

I could go on for ever but there is one thing for sure. We will miss you Grandpa.
I know when I die and walk in to heaven I will see you there with your guitar and the fire pit going with the meat grillin' with a warm tortilla in your hand for me.
